The computer knows what you mean, and the order doesn't matter.
The idea
A program is a list of exact steps run in order; when the same steps repeat, a loop says them once.
Explain it
Your friend wrote 'turn right, forward, forward' but meant 'forward, forward, turn right'. Explain why the robot ends up somewhere else, and how stepping through one command at a time would show the mistake.
Try at home
Put a toy at one end of a room. A grown-up plays the robot and only understands 'step forward', 'turn left', 'turn right'. Write the commands on paper first, then read them out one by one. Did the robot reach the toy?
